Oregon Culinary Travel Guide
The Oregon Culinary Tourism Association has just released the first comprehensive
culinary-themed travel guide ever published for a U.S. state. The 48 page,
full color, digest size booklet welcomes visitors to "Come to your five
senses...in Oregon," reminding readers that cuisine is the only art form
that speaks to the five human senses (sight, sound, smell, taste, touch) and
has a greater chance to make long-lasting memories than other forms of
culture or recreation.
The Oregon Culinary Escapes guide is a compilation of the best eating and drinking experiences in Oregon, and lists several of the state's best restaurants and wineries as well as unique tours and trails (such as a chocolate lover's tour and the "Oregon Ale Trail." The guide is also peppered with information about cooking schools and unique local foods.
